FAQ
Do I need to be present for the installation?
Yes! We ask that the decisionmaker for the project be home during the installation. On the morning of the installation, our foreman will walk through the job with you, confirm specific equipment locations, and review the conduit route. It’s important that you are present for this portion of the process, as it’s important to us to provide you with the best possible system. Post-install requests can come at an additional charge, so it’s best to make adjustments early in the process.

When will I have solar power?
Once the installation is complete, you’re almost done! After an inspection from the local jurisdiction, we will set up monitoring elements for your system, and submit your Net Energy Metering application to the utility for approval. Your project manager will happily explain the specifics in more detail, but the important takeaway is - you’re in the home stretch!

Should I clear away any areas of construction?
Yes! Talk to your project manager about areas of concern on the property - we will take every step possible not to disturb any important elements of your property, and can advise you on workarounds for certain unavoidable features.
Make sure you clear a path to your water heater prior to the day of installation, and clear any obstructions to the area where the equipment will be installed. For example, you’ll want to move things like shelving units, storage boxes, or anything else that may be in the way. If you’re not sure about which items or areas will need to be cleared, don’t hesitate to ask your project manager!
