PG&E Rates Rise Once More

The California Public Utilities Commission, already under scrutiny for their inappropriately close relationship with PG&E, voted to allow PG&E to increase rates in order to collect an additional $2.3 billion dollars from rate payers over the next three years. As more people grow weary of these consistent rate increases, alternative energy solutions like solar and wind energy have become much more attractive.

Solar energy not only vastly reduces the cost of your electricity, but gives you independence from yearly rate increases from your utility. Simply Solar offers a variety of programs aimed at permanently lowering your electricity costs, and taking advantage of PG&E rate schedules where you can actually be paid for the electricity you produce.
